Catalina Cruz Review

After browsing around and doing a bit of research on Catalina Cruz, I built up some high expectations for her site. It states that she started it in 1999, and in 2009 received the coveted AVN Web Starlet of the Year award. Normally that’s given to girls who just entered the business, but I guess in 2009 she finally made the big time as far as porn actresses go.

Wikipedia says she started out her career as JennaZ, and changed her name because she looks similar to Penelope Cruz. Catalina is also Hispanic.

I also read on her site that she’s known in the porn world for her oral skills, and takes part in a License to Blow series where she showcases her oral skills for other women to learn her techniques. She’s also a talented squirting porn actress who encourages other girls to learn how to squirt.

The Catalina Cruz website looks great, and does indeed have a good amount of content inside. Things are split up in both the photo and video sections as solo scenes, girl girl scenes, and boy girl scenes, plus a candids area where you get some behind the scenes stuff, plus convention coverage and whatnot.

Since her career started on the web and progressed from there, it was clear her website should be good. I was surprised at the level of involvement Catalina Cruz has with it, doing regular cam shows and making herself available to her members twice a week at least. She archives her old cam shows too so you can see what went on in the past before you were a member.

While there is a loto f content here, I was a bit surprised there wasn’t more. For example the boy/girl photo section has only 14 photo sets. You’d think in 10 years there would be more posted. Perhaps that’s because generally the movies she shoots for aren’t really hers to promote on her site, and I guess she doesn’t shoot too much boy girl stuff just for her site. But for someone who calls herself the blowjob princess, I think it’s a bit surprising.

I guess most of the meat of CatalinaCruz.com comes from her past live shows archive, which has content from 2003 to 2009. Some of her early shoots she doesn’t have her dark black hair either, blonde highlights I suppose you’d call it. Her cam shows are really good, with lots of action. She knows how to do a cam show that’s for sure! Lots of hardcore and guys appear in these.

Sort of strange that Catalina Cruz never came up for a review at ASS, I guess it just slipped through the cracks. Her website is solid and well deserving of the accolades it gets. Since we started reviewing sites we’ve always given credit to models who go the extra effort and offer their members more than just porn on their sites, but also a look into their lives and an opportunity to get a small window into that girl’s day to day reality. Catalina Cruz gets top marks in that area, as she’s clearly gone the distance in that regards.

I hope she takes things one step further and begins offering HD quality movies at high resolutions for her members. I think her site and everyone who visits it would benefit.
