JAV On Demand Review

JAV On Demand makes you think that they sell their services in an on demand VOD kind of way, however that’s not the case here. This is a members site like any other that sells monthly passwords.

It’s a straight forward Japanese DVD site that takes retail titles and strips the scenes for display in their members area. Each day a new scene is released from either the current DVD they’re updating, or they’ll add another title and start with episode one from that.

I was surprised at how many scenes there are per disc, usually 6 to even as much as 10. I’ve never seen a DVD with 10 scenes before, but some of them will be smaller files in those larger ones. Each DVD can be over the standard physical storage space of a DVD disc too, so maybe some of them come on dual layer discs perhaps.

There are a lot of ways to sort on this site, even as far as what kind of costumes the girls are wearing (a popular Japanese theme).

The videos are very large here for each scene, I saw at 2.0 GB each. Also some shorter scenes at maybe 300MB. A good deal of variance, maybe 800MB for an average, though pulled in both directions quite a bit.

File formats are WMV and MP4, in two different forms: 1280×720 and 720×404.

I’d say have a look at the models and see if you like the content, there’s a lot of it here. Also note that not all the videos come in full HD, only the newer ones, though it’s been a long time they’ve been doing that.
