Shannons Secret, Shannons very own space on the web. Let me say upfront that Shannon does all the HTML for her site herself, and she’s always working on the site. The site itself just switched hosts, so some of the galleries were unavailable at the time of this review.

If amateur’s stripping off their bathing suits is your thing, Shannon’s definitely for you. This site includes pictorials of her and her swimwear wrapped all over motorcycles, classic cars, and even airplanes. She must have a thing for transportation!

Previously one of the web’s top 50 amateurs, Shannon strives to keep things updated with an update every week or so. Shannon adds new video clips and image galleries as they’re shot, so the content stays pretty fresh. The archive section of her site has been scaled down due to server space, but archives in excess of 15,000 past pics of Shannon are available on CD. Only 4 video clips were online at the time of this review, which seems a bit small for the amount of pictures she’s done. Perhaps a little more financial support of her website would help her get more server space for those! (hint hint)

A twist to the usual ‘amateur webcam’ game, Shannon offers ‘one-on-one’ chats for her members. Also, Shannon chats with her members 3 nights a week, and is available via LivePerson for chat. At the time of this review, she was on-line and eager to chat with this reviewer. The site itself is HSHTML [High School HTML], but Shannon does a good job of organizing relavent content and keeping everything reasonably clean. The navigational sidebar changes its contents from page to page though. Tsk Tsk.

There’s an interesting contest going on now among her members, those who donate towards her purchase of a Sybian get a personalized video from Shannon, as well as a chance to win tickets to her next photoshoot.

With membership costing $10 a month, Shannon offers just enough original content to stay current. But, as with most amateur sites, the content here is for a niche audience and are definitely in the right price range. $10 is a good deal. Membership also provides access to 70 webcam feeds from AmateurCamHouse and free access to Amateur Magazine.
If I were given the chance to improve the site, I’d fix the navigational side bar, and possibly offer the photoshoots in zip format depending on bandwidth restrictions. More videos are hopefully on the way as her site increases her traffic and exposure. Truly an amateur site.
