Shiny Angels Review

I first reviewed Shiny Angels in October of 2002 here at Adult Site Surfer, and I’m pretty sure it’s the same site and same owner as it used to be. My only real clue is that my old review lists the same things that their tour lists now – latex, PVC, rubber, those same fetishes.

Happy to be getting a chance to look at it again, I’ll be honest – I don’t remember much of the first time around! The original review also says it was a non-nude site, and after looking at their other newer site Shiny Movies, I’m sure it’s the same people now. Lots of non-nude there as well.

Ok I’m logged into the members area at ShinyAngels.com now, and I see that things are up to date as of 2 days ago. They seem to update every few days, things are dated, looking good so far. I had to enter my password FOUR times to get in though, it’s like each section of the page that loaded needed the password or something. Weird.

Unlike Shiny Movies, this site also includes lots of photos, in fact the tour states there are more than 27,000 of the things. Surely every shiny fetishist has been a member of this site over the years, it’s pretty dominant in this niche, and thankfully they do a good job of representing the shiny fetish.

At the top there is a picture area, videos, archives, models, friends, and some other stuff like links and “get laid tonight!” which I’ll dutifully avoid.

This site has a lot of content, a lot of photo sets, and with quite good production values. The lighting is good, the pictures are clear, nice resolution, really nothing to complain about.

I counted up roughly 450 photo sets, but the archive doesn’t go back nearly as far as the site was alive. Hrm. Anyways a good deal of content, and in modern quality, so that’s good.

Where this site falters is in the video area, where there are only 21 videos. Also I’m unsure why, since they run another site called Shiny Movies with many more vids. Capitalism at work, perhaps? Strange. The videos range from 6 to 65mb, with most in the 20-40 range, some in multiple parts. All their shiny fetish movies are in WMV format.

So there you have it, Shiny Angels is a good site that represents the shiny porn niche very well. It’s more centered around photos than videos, but does such a good job with the photos it’s hard to question this site. They’re certainly good at what they do.
