The Classic Porn Review
The Classic Porn seems to have changed a great deal since our first review of it in 2008, and so I’ll do a full re-review instead of a standard update.
First of all, we reported there were roughly 300 videos on first visit, but now I see that’s grown a great deal. It’s easy enough to add up, with 10 full titles per page, and 168 pages worth for a total of 1,680 video titles. Considering that most of them have multiple scenes, you’re looking at a whole lot of classic retro porno here.
The decades covered include the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, up until 1995. Also there are only 2 movies listed in the 1960’s, so they’re pretty much a writeoff here.
I liked that there is a yearly navigation system on the left sidebar, so members can easily access a specific year’s content and see how many titles are in each year too.
Like all classic porn sites, the quality varies with each video, depending on its original source. Most are from VHS tapes and the like. The quality generally gets better as the years go on.
There are many ways to sort the content, which is important since there’s so much of it. You can’t break things down to the scene level though, so if a movie has 6 scenes in it, you’ll have to visit its title’s page to see they exist. For that reason I can’t figure out exactly how many scenes there are either.
If that wasn’t enough, there are also 3 more retro and classic porn bonus sites included with membership, and claims there are 2 new sites being developed that will be released soon.
There is a graphic at the top of the site that says there are 1,802 titles (very close to my count) 11,500+ pics, 6,730 models and 2,232 hours of video here at The Classic Porn.
If you’re a fan of vintage and retro porn flicks, I have no hesitations in recommending this site. It’s got appealing titles, has a lot of videos to watch, it’s well organized and the bonus sites are all retro style as well.
